1-1 Leadership Coaching

What is Leadership Coaching:

Leadership coaching provides new, aspiring, and experienced leaders with a confidential, psychologically informed space to reflect, develop, and strengthen their leadership practice. Rather than providing the answers, coaching supports leaders to increase self-awareness, explore different perspectives, build confidence, and develop their own authentic approach to leadership. It provides valuable space away from the demands of the role to think clearly about the people, challenges, and decisions in front of them.

Leadership Coaching in practice:

Through regular 1-1 coaching conversations, leaders have the opportunity to soundboard ideas, explore difficult situations, and work through decisions in a supportive and non-judgemental environment. Using psychologically grounded coaching principles, sessions encourage leaders to step outside of workplace dynamics, consider situations from multiple perspectives, recognise their own patterns and responses, and avoid becoming caught within unhelpful dynamics such as the Drama Triangle. Coaching is tailored to the individual and the real leadership challenges they are navigating.

Sessions can be delivered face-to-face* for local organisations or online via Microsoft Teams, providing flexible support for leaders at all stages of their development.

Why Leadership Coaching is effective:

Leadership can be demanding and, at times, isolating. Leaders are responsible for supporting others, navigating competing needs, managing relationships, and making decisions that can influence an entire team, yet they are rarely given dedicated space to process the impact of that responsibility.

Leadership coaching creates that space. By slowing down the decision-making process, challenging assumptions, developing emotional intelligence, and exploring situations from different perspectives, leaders become better equipped to respond rather than react. This supports clearer decision-making, healthier professional boundaries, stronger relationships, and more psychologically safe teams—ultimately helping leaders create the conditions in which both their people and the quality of care can thrive.

  • "Having somewhere to say what I'm really thinking, without judgement, has been invaluable."

    Feedback from Client

    Feedback from Client

  • "Sometimes I already know what I need to do—I just need the space to work through it. Having someone challenge my thinking, ask the right questions, and help me see what I might be missing has completely changed the way I approach difficult situations."

    Feedback from Client

  • "I understand my impact as a leader so much more now."

    Feedback from Client

  • "The biggest difference has been learning not to get pulled into every problem or workplace dynamic. I can recognise what's happening, step back, and respond in a way that's better for me, my team, and the situation."

    Feedback from Client

  • "Leadership can feel lonely. Coaching gives me a confidential space where I can be completely honest, soundboard ideas, and work through decisions before taking them back to my team."

    Feedback from Client

  • "I feel clearer and more confident with the decisions and approach that I take in leadership. "
