First Aid for Mental Health Accredited Training
Our Mental Health First Aid training has been specifically tailored for health, social care, education and voluntary sector organisations, recognising the unique emotional demands placed on those working in caring professions. Underpinned by psychology, therapeutic wellbeing principles, and frontline experience, the training combines evidence-based knowledge with practical strategies that participants can immediately apply within their own teams and organisations.
Designed to strengthen confidence, improve mental health awareness and support psychologically safe workplaces, the programme equips participants with the skills to recognise when someone may be struggling, respond with compassion, encourage appropriate support, and contribute to a healthier, more resilient workforce.
Level 1 Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health
A half-day introductory qualification designed to increase awareness of mental health, reduce stigma, and help individuals recognise the early signs that someone may be experiencing poor mental wellbeing. Ideal for all employees.
Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health
A one-day qualification providing learners with the knowledge and confidence to recognise common mental health conditions, offer initial support, and signpost colleagues towards appropriate professional help. Ideal for Mental Health Champions, Team Leaders, and supervisors.
