1-1 Wellbeing Coaching

What is 1-1 Wellbeing Coaching:

1-1 wellbeing coaching provides individuals with a confidential, supportive space to explore the challenges that may be affecting their wellbeing, both in and outside of the workplace. Using a psychologically informed coaching approach, sessions focus on identifying goals, increasing self-awareness, and developing practical strategies to improve emotional wellbeing, resilience, and confidence.

Whether someone is experiencing stress, anxiety, low mood, compassion fatigue, emotional overwhelm, or simply feeling stuck, wellbeing coaching supports them to move forward with greater clarity, balance, and purpose.

1-1 Wellbeing Coaching Sessions in Practice:

Wellbeing coaching is tailored to the individual, recognising that no two people experience challenges in the same way. Through guided conversation, reflective coaching techniques and practical tools, individuals are supported to better understand themselves, identify patterns, develop healthier coping strategies and work towards meaningful wellbeing goals.

Sessions can be delivered face-to-face (for local organisations) or online via Microsoft Teams, providing flexible support that fits around the demands of working in health, social care, education and the voluntary sector.

Why Wellbeing Coaching is Effective:

Working in caring professions can be incredibly rewarding, but it also places significant emotional demands on individuals. Without opportunities to reflect, process experiences and prioritise personal wellbeing, stress can build over time, impacting confidence, resilience, performance and overall mental health.

Wellbeing coaching creates dedicated space for individuals to pause, reflect and invest in themselves. By developing greater self-awareness and practical wellbeing strategies, employees become better equipped to manage challenges, maintain healthy boundaries and protect their own wellbeing, enabling them to continue supporting others with compassion, confidence and resilience.

Our Process

Wellbeing Micro-Workshop

A short, engaging workshop introducing the importance of workforce wellbeing, compassion fatigue, burnout, and self-care. This session helps staff understand why prioritising their own wellbeing is essential to providing sustainable, high-quality care.

1-1 Individual Conversation

Each employee participates in a confidential one-to-one conversation to explore their wellbeing strengths, challenges, early warning signs and the strategies that help them stay well and perform at their best.

Plan with Purpose

Using the information gathered, employees create their own personalised wellbeing plan. The plan outlines practical actions, support mechanisms and wellbeing strategies designed to promote resilience and prevent burnout.

Leadership Implementation

Managers receive guidance on how to use wellbeing plans effectively, creating supportive wellbeing conversations, recognising early signs of stress and embedding wellbeing into everyday leadership practice.
